THE most romantic day of the year is here and as romantic and dreamy as we all can be, we are always in search of the ultimate table for two!

How perfect does a dinner setting in Italy sound to you? We are giving you an exclusive insight into the three most gorgeous and romantic places to dine at on earth.

After all isn’t a table for two in Italy THE epitome of a romantic gesture?

Due to the current situation many will not be able to travel and or leave their homes this year. For when the future is brighter, make sure to take note because the perfect table for two does exist and the shortlist you are about to read is the results of many hours of work to deliver you the real quintessentially Italian experience.

So here we go:

Lake Como

Grand Hotel Tremezzo

Awarded by Conde Nast Treveller, No 1 Best Hotel in 2020 in Italy, this hotel as suggested is pure magic!

With its Belle Epoque interior style and retro glamorous vibe, Grand Hotel Tremezzo has romance at its core, with their endless romantic settings, such as their Sala Contessa or in Suite, these dimmidisi or private tables are equally stunning.

A private table for you between the romantic lake and the pool, surrounded by nothing but the starry night and low-lit candles, creates nothing but a dreamy romantic atmosphere!!

This table, like all the other dimmidisi tables are exclusive for the night, this means not only you will be in total privacy, you can also enjoy an incredible meal and excellent white glove table service.

If your occasion is as unique as the place you are going; a proposal, a destination wedding, or an anniversary- this place is the place to be. I highly recommended Grand Hotel Tremezzo not only as a Destination Wedding Planner, but also as an Italian this beautiful hotel delivers a truly authentic ‘Italian’ experience.

My advice to you, is to keep following the Grand Hotel Tremezzo as they have many marvellous plans up their sleeves. I cannot go into full details just yet, but let’s just say they are working on yet another beautifully romantic top secret offer. From what I have been told it is going to be WOW! Full details to come shortly.

TIPS

The hotel opening is April to October and although you do not need to be a guest in order to book this table, it’s highly recommended you book one well in advance, as you may end up being overwhelmed with the dinner and end up needing a room 😉

There is much more to do in this hotel and of course in the surrounding area of Lake Como, you can find out more directly from  Grand Hotel Tremezzo or , if you are looking for a great wedding destination and the whole experience you can get in touch with us at Magia Weddings

I highly recommend the service and staff at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, I can promise that all our clients will be very well looked after.

Rome

Aroma Restaurant

If your heart is set on the Eternal City, and you are dying to explore the little old streets that people say always leads to Rome, or perhaps you want to feel a little bit like Audrey Hepburn and have a taste of Roman Holidays. I know of the most Romantic table for two overlooking one of the most iconic monuments in the whole world; The Colosseum.

Aroma Restaurant is set on the fourth floor on the Penthouse, in the five star Palazzo Manfredi, in the heart of Rome, it is definitely THE place for a two people in love.

The night can kick off with a contemporary cocktail in most exclusive location for innovative mixology, The Court Bar . Here you can enjoy my favourite drink a, Roman Martini whilst enjoying the beautiful shades of peach in the twilight sky, or perhaps sip a delicious cocktail by daylight during the golden hours. Why not take a look at their terrific  Cocktail List .

After this, you will definitely be in a romantic mood so let’s continue the night moving into the beautiful Aroma Restaurant; this one Michelin star restaurant is effortlessly classy and intimate. It only offers 28 seats, in the most iconic spotlight of the capital, making it so very exclusive (see here how to book a table).

Like it or not, Covid19 has made this little affair a step further away, the experience has now become more exclusive, due to the new pandemic regulations in Italy. The Palazzo Manfredi hotel, bar and restaurant can currently only be booked by the hotel guests in order to make this place safer; doesn’t this privacy make you want you to go there event more?! For me, I will definitely be making a visit on my next trip to Rome.

TIPS

Rome can be sunny throughout the whole year except during winter when temperatures dramatically dip. A perfect time to visit would be spring, where the sunshine is warm, and the capital is not packed with tourists.

If you are also planning to stay at Palazzo Mandrefi make sure to book a table (by the window, possibly) way way in advance, and ask their Concierge to make a trip itinerary for you to enjoy Rome at its best.

Maiori, Amalfi Coast

Scoglio di Ulisse (Torre Normanna)

The Amalfi Coast, is one of the most loved, and sought after destinations in the entire word. The romance attached to this land is historic and it makes it the number one most visited place in Italy.

Of course, when visiting you will know all about the popular and touristic places to dine. But I want to share the unique and undiscovered treasures this region has to offer. Unknown to many and all that more exclusive is this little secret table for two, situated in a hidden rock, behind an ancient tower in the town of Maiori.

I am excited to introduce the Ulisse table (tavolo di Ulisse).

Il Tavolo di Ulisse is a one of kind experience for an out or ordinary evening, designed specifically to celebrate intimate occasions. There are only two tables as Il Tavolo di Ulisse with the second one being the Cupid table (Il Tavolo di Cupido) , if you are looking for privacy this is the place to go.

As some of you many know, Naples is famous for serenades, which creates a beautiful romantic atmosphere when included into an intimate dinner. Emiliano, the manager of Tavolo di Ulisse will organise upon request for a local musician to play mandolin whilst you dine.

Here the staff will welcome you with a very warm smile and escort you to a spectacular setting, where you will find flowers and house Champagne to let the evening flow!

I hope you have enjoyed our selection of Table for two’s. Let us know which one is your favourite and whether or not you will visit, at some point.

With love,

Elira Alushi
